The participants in this program
receive Educational Instruction in their Native Language called
“Basic English in Native Language” (BENL). They learn to Read
and Write as well as Learning English in their home Language.

Workshops for ESL and BENL Participants
A series of periodical
workshops are conducted to provide information regarding the available
resources within the community. They learn how to apply for Food Stamps,
Employment, Social Security Card for themselves or for their Children, as
well as information on Job Search, Entitlement, and Immigration Laws.
Counseling and Advice regarding Substance Abuse, Child Abuse, Domestic
Violence, HIV/AIDS awareness and Prevention, and stress Reduction.
